Three people have been injured after a man was reportedly seen armed with weapons in Leeds, police have said.

West Yorkshire Police said officers were called to Otley Road, in the Headingley area, at 14:47 BST to an ongoing incident.

A male has been arrested and enquires were continuing to establish what has happened.

The force said: “Officers attended and located three people who had suffered injuries which are at this time not being treated as life threatening.”

“A number of police scenes remain in place, ensuring public safety remains our priority,” a spokesperson said.
