A man in his 40s has died in Mountnorris, County Armagh.

Emergency services attended a property in the Cusher Green area shortly after 11:30 BST and discovered the man deceased at the scene, with serious head and facial injuries.

A 39-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody, the Police Service of Northern Ireland has said.

“The local community can expect to see an increased police presence in the Cusher Green area as officers conduct further enquiries into what happened – cordons are also in place this evening,” Det Ch Insp Gary Robinson said.
