A 15-year-old boy has been charged with planning a terrorist attack and membership of a banned neo-Nazi group.

He is charged with engaging in conduct in preparation for committing acts of terrorism.

The boy, from Northumberland, was arrested last week and a property was searched, Counter Terrorism Policing North East said.

He is remanded in custody to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.
